Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun is a 12-episode anime adaptation of a manga by Ikka Matsuki, directed by Kazuaki Terasawa and produced by Studio Kafka. The series is a historical fantasy set in a reimagined version of feudal Japan, where the land is divided into three warring nations under a crimson sun. It follows the conflicts and political struggles between these factions, blending samurai-era aesthetics with supernatural elements.
