Set seven years after the One Year War, this mecha sci-fi drama follows a group of young civilians and former resistance fighters who become embroiled in a new conflict while piloting the titular Gundam ZZ mobile suit. Produced by Sunrise, the 47-episode original series shifts its tone from the preceding entry to focus on a younger cast navigating the chaos of war.
