Jaadugar: A Witch in Mongolia has released the synopsis and scene cuts for its fifth act, titled “The Snake’s Spots Are on the Outside, the Human’s Spots Are Within.”
In the episode, Sitara receives a secret mission from Sorqoqtani to investigate Chagatai, the second prince, whose actions could spark conflict. With Sira’s help, she prepares to proceed.
However, Sitara is accused of theft by Dregene, the sixth wife of Ogedei, the third prince, after a jadestone she happens to possess leads to suspicion.
The anime is currently airing on the TV Asahi network’s nationwide 24-station IMAnimation block, BS Asahi and other outlets. Science SARU is producing the series, based on Tomato Soup’s manga serialized in Akita Shoten’s Souffle.
AniHeat's take: Worth noting for fans following Sitara and Dregene’s historical court drama, as the newly revealed act places Sitara under suspicion while she investigates a potential source of conflict within the imperial family.
