Starting July 22, Osaka Takashimaya will hold a free print exhibition tracing Tetsuya Chiba's 70-year career as a manga artist, with around 80 works on display and for sale.

The exhibition is free to enter, giving visitors the chance to view roughly 80 prints spanning Chiba's body of work without any admission cost.

Among the pieces on show are prints connected to Ashita no Joe, one of the titles that marks Chiba's seven decades as a manga artist. The prints are available for purchase as well as viewing.

The exhibition is held at Osaka Takashimaya, framed as a retrospective look back at Chiba's long career in manga.

AniHeat's take: Worth noting for fans of Ashita no Joe and Tetsuya Chiba's wider body of work, since the free admission makes it easy to see career-spanning prints in person.
