The TV anime BLACK TORCH has released the synopsis and advance cuts for its second episode, airing July 11, 2026 at 22:00.
Episode 2, titled "The Choice Is Yours," follows Jiro as he wakes up in a hospital room and learns he is under surveillance by the Kogi Onmitsukyoku, who hold him responsible for merging with Ragou, a spirit that had long been sealed by the organization.
Due to programming adjustments, RKB Mainichi Broadcasting may delay the broadcast of episode 2 by up to 120 minutes because of the Women's Volleyball Nations League. The non-credit ending video featuring I Don't Like Mondays.'s song "Groooovy" is now available on YouTube.
The anime premiered on July 4, 2026 on TOKYO MX and other stations, and is simulcast on ABEMA, d Anime Store, U-NEXT, and Anime Times.
