Initial D's signature car, the AE86 "Hachiroku," is the focus of a new pop-up event at Aeon Mall Takasaki.
A pop-up shop bringing together the real AE86 "Hachiroku" and a 1/18-scale model of the car is set to open at Aeon Mall Takasaki, starting August 11.
For fans visiting the event, it offers a chance to see the AE86 in both full-size and miniature form, in one place.
AniHeat's take: Worth noting for Initial D fans and those interested in 1/18-scale car models, as the event is held at a shopping mall in Takasaki.
