Square Enix will release a new episode of its web series INSIDE SQUARE ENIX featuring an interview with Hiromu Arakawa, creator of the manga Daemons of the Shadow Realm, on July 11 at 21:00 JST on the company's YouTube channel.
The program will delve into the production secrets of Daemons of the Shadow Realm, including the editorial struggles at the series' launch, details about the characters and the 'Tsugai' concept, and anecdotes from a research trip to Tono. A puppet based on a hand-drawn blueprint by Arakawa, which she also operated during filming, will appear.
Additionally, a special segment titled '10 Questions for Hiromu Arakawa' will be released the same day, answering questions submitted by readers via Square Enix Members and X (formerly Twitter). The 13th volume of the manga was released on July 10, and the TV anime adaptation is currently airing.
