Creative Yoko announced on July 10, 2026, that its original character Sirotan, in collaboration with Sanrio characters, has won first place in the Partner Category of the 2026 Sanrio Character Ranking.
The 41st annual Sanrio Character Ranking, which began in 1986, featured 90 characters selected from over 450 Sanrio characters. The Partner Category allows corporate and local government mascots to enter alongside Sanrio characters.
Following this achievement, a special collaboration between Sirotan and Pompompurin has been announced for summer 2026, celebrating Pompompurin's 30th anniversary and its consecutive overall win in the ranking.
The Sirotan TV anime is scheduled to air on TV Asahi every Saturday at 4:29 p.m. starting October 2026.
